Dear Parent/Guardian,
The Hempstead School District will offer a half-day Summer School Program for current Grade 6 students during Summer 2026 to support academic growth and transition to ABGS Middle School.
Program Details
- Dates: July 6–July 30, 2026
- Days: Monday–Thursday (No Fridays)
- Time: 8:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
- Location: Jackson Elementary School
- Meals: Breakfast served 8:30–9:00 a.m.; bag lunch provided
- Instruction Begins: 9:00 a.m. promptly
The program emphasizes ELA, Math, and STEAM, along with academic support and enrichment. A Summer Camp option will also be offered from 1:00–3:00 p.m. Details will be shared separately by your child’s school.
Action Required
Please complete, sign, and return the permission form to your child’s teacher no later than May 22, 2026.
